Catherine Moore is a freelance writer and poet. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, Catherine’s been a "scribbler" since they handed her a pencil as a child. After graduating from the Florida State University with a degree in English Literature she has spent most of her career working in education and public relations fields. A few years ago she turned serious attention back to writing fiction and poetry. Catherine is an avid traveler and has visited 14 different countries, including living overseas. A literacy advocate, she volunteers as an ESOL tutor at her local public library.. Catherine has also placed in Area and Regional speech competitions with Toastmasters Club, Intl.
