Rositza Yordanova Pironska is a writer , poet and translator. She graduated from the University of Plovdiv where she studed French and Bulgarian literature. She has five published books of prose and poetry and is a winner of two national prizes for poetry, Second Prize from "Magic Love" Contest and First Prize from SMS-poetry Contest. In 2007 she won Third Prize from the International Haiku Contest "Calico Cat". Her works has been published outside of Bulgaria in Shampoo, Versal, PBHP, Scarecrow, PLR, Blatt, Localminds, Simply Haiku, Mahoroba Haiga Gallary, Basho-ki, Contemporary Haibun Online, Autumn Leaves and others.

Her work, "Grandfather and the hot time," appeared in the third issue of Six Little Things.
