English-born and American-educated, Susan Blanshard spent most of her early childhood in New Zealand. She is currently living in Viet Nam, where she runs Café Writer’s Workshops and teaches a Creative Writing Program for the United Nations in Hanoi. She is the author of Sheetstone: Memoir for a Lover, (Spuyten Duyvil, 2006), of the forthcoming novel, Perfume River, and of two forthcoming collections of poetry, Evidence of Obsession and Sleeping with The Artist, selections from which have appeared in World Literary Review, Projected Letters. Susan lives with an artist. They have two children.
