about this issue

six little things 3: a season in heck
The theme for this issue combines two subjects dear to my heart: poet Arthur Rimbaud, and the conspicuous avoidance of swear words. It also summed up my experience fleeing New Orleans. With issue number three, I've actually begun receiving unsolicited submissions, and have managed to persuade artists to let me dick around with their art. Patrick Vickers's dreamlike landscape and junkyard photographs are both brooding and whimsical, a wonderful visual embodiment of "A Season in Heck." –Bard Cole, ed.
