This was the debut issue of my new web project: Six Little Things, an online journal of short prose writing. Skyland Boulevard is one of the main arteries through the fringes of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. All of the writers in this issue have spent some considerable time driving along it. Some have recently watched it roll out behind them in their rearview mirror. The artwork for this first issue is my own – roadside photographs taken in and around Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the rusty sign capital of West Alabama. I'm very interested in other people's art too.
